Happy Valentines Day!

I thought I would share our dinner experience with everyone because it was just so unique to me. I've never had food like it before. We decided to go to the Elephant Bar Restaurant for dinner.

The food was so cool looking I took a picture of all of it.

This is how Chris looked after we placed our order and they came back 10 minutes later say that they ran out of ribs!

Then came the main course.



I think the best part was the drink that I ordered.



On Thursday night we had Aunt Kathy over for her birthday and made her dinner and cake. Then Logan stayed with Aunt Kathy for a few hours on Valentines Day!!

Swimming lessons

Here is a video of Logans swimming lessons about 5 weeks ago, since then he has passed the class. I will try to get a new video of him swimming.


We're in the next level now of swimming so I will video that so you can see how much we've progressed in the last 2 months its exciting to see.

Finally fully furnished.

We finally went and bought ourselves some furniture for our basement. We thought we'd spend more time down there when we got it but we have yet to go down there.

As for Logan he has been doing AWANA's and is pretty excited about going to it. He works on his bible verses in the evening so he can get candy as a reward!!
For Valentines Day we are going to the Elephant Bar so hopefully I will get a few pictures from there to post.

Busy Weekend!!!

This weekend was spend going going going. On Saturday I had a homemade gourmet party. It was a good time and there was about 12 people or so shoved into my living room. Lots of good food.

Then Logan had a Birthday party to go to at Amazing Jake's. He spend about 4 hours there eating and playing games. By the end of the day we were all ready to go home.

Logan hung out with my friend Nadine's son, Francisco the whole time. Its good b/c they are so close in age and they get along really well.

They did this ride over and over...it made me sick just watching them :-)



What would be an update with out a picture of Cinderella. She always finds her way to Logan's room to play on the stuffed dog. Although before school this morning Logan instructed her and me that she is not allowed in his room when he is gone! So he took it out of his room for her to have.

Let it Snow!!!

We finally got some snow the other night. Its been dry here pretty much all winter.
So I sent out the man who does the shoveling before school!

It was only 7am before the bus came to get him!!


Chris celebrated his birthday on the 1st of Janaury...We went to Black Hawk and had a good evening away.

Our newest member of the family is doing well and everyone still loves having her.
She weighs a whole 2 lbs now...





For those of you who don't know...our poor Impala died so we had to buy a new car...its not the Lexus that Chris always wanted but he was able to buy himself a Cadillac



Other than all of that everything is pretty quiet around here.
