The Royal Gorge Park

We decided to head out early for our Memorial Day weekend. We spent an entire day at the Royal Gorge Park. It was a fun day and we didn't get rained out but for only 10 minutes of the whole day.

We rode across the gorge in the aerial tram.

Don't look down!

Logan went on the rides!

This is Chris crossing the famous bridge.

We went down the incline railway, to the bottom of the gorge.

This is the view of the bottom of the bridge from the bottom of the gorge.

Here we are at the bottom of the gorge by the Arkansas River.

This is the water clock it is only one of 3 in the world.
Last but not least they have a wild life park with buffalo, elk and mountain sheep.

Morning Walk

So this morning I took a walk with the dog around a park that we have by our house. The park has always been there but we've never took the path around it. It was so pretty to look at I decided to share it with everybody.

Unsuccessful Fishing

Well we had our first fishing venture of the year. It didn't last long and it was kind of cold. It took us 2 hours to find the place, I think we spent more time driving there than we did actually fishing. And as you can guess we caught nothing.
Here are a few pics from our little adventure.

I think we all had about 2 layers of clothes on because the wind was so cold.

For those of you who don't know...Chris will start traveling to Canada now for work. He will be gone about 50% of the time. He will go every other week Sunday til Friday. He will be in charge of HR up in Canada and his own department here in Aurora. More work for him, but its what you'll do in order to keep a job. So that is our biggest adjustment we have to make around here.
