July....so far

Whew its only 9 days into July and we've been busy. Here is what we've been up to.
The week of 4th of July, Chris Sister Ludy, Andrew, and Aunt Kathy came to visit us. It was fun having family come visit for a few days.

Saturday we took a road trip to Rapid City, SD to bring Logan 1/2 way to MT.

First we stopped at the Dinosaur Park.

From there we headed on to MT. Rushmore.

Stopped by the Crazy Horse Monument to see that.

We stopped to say hello to Abraham Lincoln. I love Logan's face in this picture.



On the way down the Mountain we got to stop to see some wild life.

Logan got to enjoy the Hotel Water slide!

Summer vacation so far

Summer Vacation is flying by. 3 weeks from now Logan will be on his way to MT. Here is what we have been up to so far.
Today at Church Logan got to meet the brothers from the group "for King & Country." They performed at our church during all the services this morning and did a concert the night before with their sister Rebecca St. James.

We brought Chris out to dinner for Fathers Day. Nothing says "I love you" more to my husband, than All you can eat Crab Legs

Logan has been playing a lot of baseball games and practice every week.

We enjoyed the Firework Show from the Elkhorn Day!

Omaha put on a Sand in the City. Companies get together and design different designs in the sand.

Logan decided to go on some rides, during the Taste of Omaha.

Of course down from our house at Village Pointe there is a summer Concert Series.

And of course we have just been goofing off!

5th Grade graduation

Wednesday was Logans last day of school in which he had his graduation. Middle school here we come.

Logan Lately

Starting Thursday (24th) Summer vacation begins for Logan. Here is what we've been doing lately to wrap up the school year.
Last Friday Logan had the end of the year school carnival. He hung out with his friends Nevin and Nate and did a little face painting.

Logan made me a little Mothers day gift at school along with a flower pot.

Sunday I spent all afternoon making some end of the year gifts for Logan's teachers. He has his special ed teacher, home room teacher, and teachers aid. Pretty excited about how these plain clay flower pots turned out.

Yesterday Logan's baseball season started with his first practice. His coach seems to be a good one, bummer he will only be there for 1/2 of the season. But he is excited to go to Montana.
