Recovery recap

Other than being super tired and a little pain the last 10 days have not been that bad. If I did activities for a couple hours and then rested I was good!

Here is what we did the last few weeks.

Yvonne and Duane were here for my surgery and for the days following. Finally Friday we got out to do some site seeing and dinner!

I went to watch my friend run a 5k. All the walking wore me out, but it was fun to watch.

Logan got some swimming in!

My friend Becky came from Sioux Center to see me! Of course she brought Eli!

Last but not least Logan had to do some window shopping for a Halloween costume!

Back to work on Tuesday, then off to Florida for a friends wedding on Friday!

Thyroid surgery

Well we got it done. Left side came back with a small amount if cancer but they cut it all out so I was able to keep the other side of my thyroid in.

Just go for an ultra sound next year but everything should be fine.

Labor Day weekend

We went to the zoo with a friend!

We had some friends over to celebrate my 31st bday!

And went out for dinner on my birthday.

It's been more like a birthday week than a birthday :)

I was home sick today but my thoughtful son had everybody in his home room class's sign a "get better soon" paper

Overall it's been a good week!

7th grade pictures

We already got our 7th grade pictures back!!!

Raspberry picking

We spent Sunday afternoon picking raspberries at the Bellevue Berry Farm. We got 5 lbs of raspberries. Lots to eat and even some yummy jelly.
