Back from Montana and in a new house

Hello to Everybody, its been a really long time since I've updated all of you, so here is whats been going on.

We closed on our house and it is finally ours. 2 days later I flew out to Montana to finish up the final wedding plans. I'm thinking I must have planned this right b/c poor Chris was stuck here in Colorado moving boxes for me. He did although save stuff for me to move when we got back.

Logan loved being back in Montana on the farm. He loves having his cats, dogs, and kite flying right there available to him. We had fun running around and seeing everybody.

My cousin Renee hosted a Bridal Shower for me. It was nice to get together with everybody and spend time together. Lisa of course had great games for us to plan. If your in need of games and a get together she would be the one to call.

We stayed 1 day in Deer Lodge with Yvonne and the girls. Logan enjoyed playing with Elizabeths dog and cats there.

When we got home it was fianally Logans time to take his braces off. He was exactly excited for that b/c they made his poor little thumbs feel secure. His princial at school gave him 2 coupons for Dairy Queen one for each hand. Well needless to say we had both those braces off in 2 days. He seems to be doing well with them, and they don't bother him. We'll see if the one finger straightens our for good.

This weekend we finished moving all of our stuff out of our apartment and into the new house.

Its nice to be all in one location. Everything went pretty well, minus our sleeper sofa doesn't fit through the door, and our washer/dryer don't fit where they should. So the sofa we must sell and we'll have to figure the rest out.

Chris is planning on flying for work to Nebraska in May for another work trip. He is enjoying his job and seems to be pretty busy with it. He is still trying to get use to the idea of having to mow a lawn and doing little projects around the house. It will be good for him.

Most of the wedding planning seems to be almost done and we are excited to see everybody again in August. Don't forget save the date of August 2nd.

Whole Bunch of Stuff Going on!!

Well here I am again with all the newest updates. Logan went to get his cast off on Monday, and it is still broken and healing very crooked. It looks as though we are heading toward surgery the end of this year or next year. He does though have two really cool neon glow in the dark casts on. They aim to please at the Children's Hospital. In 2 weeks we will check everything out again and see if we can't get either one or both of them off. The other one * the newest injury* seems to be doing well and it seems as if the tendon did not come off.

For good news; Chris and I have started the paperwork process of buying a home. If the inspection and appraisal go well it will be ours come March 28. We're pretty excited.

There are some of the pictures of the house. Other than that We haven't been up to a whole lot.Logan is excited for his upcoming trip to Montana. He has already called Nana "aka Myra" to make sure that the trampoline will be set up and that the play house hasn't moved. He did go and get his very own luggage now so he can travel in style.

One Tragedy after Another

I really shouldn't even be up right now. We just spent 10 hours in the hospital ER and finally came home at 4:00 am this morning. My poor little Logan, he went to shut the car door and shut it on his right thumb. You guessed it, it is broken also. I went to the ER just thinking that we were going to get stitches, but we came out broken. Since it was an open wound on top of it they ended up putting him to sleep for the procedure. On Monday we go to make sure that he didn't crush his flexor tendon.(That one allows you to move your thumb up and down.) So come Monday we get the other cast off and get to put another one on the right hand. He can't do anything by himself right now. I have to feed him, take him to the bathroom, everything. Hopefully come Monday everything is good and we can just get a cast on it and continue on with life. I was really looking forward to him taking a normal bath for once, but it seems that will be on hold for a while. BAD LUCK!!!
He is finally picking up things in school, there is a chance that I may keep him in 1st grade again so he doesn't end up in middle school so far behind.
Everything else is good for us, we are hoping to buy a house pretty quick and have one in our sites. Just depends on the inspection and appraisal. I'll keep you all posted.

Logan Injury

So we always knew that Logan would break a bone one day. Who knew that it was going to be when he was playing with Mom. Yes, its true I broke my sons thumb. I was going for the goal (playing soccer) and Logan went for the block. At first we just thought it was a jam, but the next day proved to be other wise. 3 hospitals later we left with a really cool power ranger blue cast. I felt pretty bad, Logan on the other hand has been pretty forgiving. The doctors were nice enough to say " At least your Mom was playing with you." Not exactly what we were going for. The cast will stay on for 4 weeks. In 6 months we will go back to make sure that the thumb is growing correctly.( It broke on the growth plate. ) If it doesn't grow correctly then we will have to have surgery. But it sounded pretty posative talking to the doctor. Other than that nothing new to report.

First Update

I thought I would start this web site so we could keep everybody updated from a distance. Logan is doing really well in his new school, he really likes it. Its amazing to see how a kids confidence really goes up when you get a little one on one help. He is really picking up in his school work.

Chris is in Nebraska for a week. Its snowing and cold there, which is exactly what I wanted him to experience while there. That way he won't ever want to move there.

He really likes his job and seems to do well at it.

Wedding planning is going well. Things seem to be coming together nicely.

Logan and I are flying to Montana the end of March. We are excited to stay there for a week and see everybody.

I am enjoying my job. I hope to be a couple months away from a promotion. My next step up is Service Manager which would put me in charge of the whole teller line. It is one position down from Branch Manager. Of course there are different levels of these positions. Right now I am attending Wells Fargo Service Manager courses and trying to learn everything.

Logan is now in Boy scouts. He is slowly learning how to participate in group things with out being overwhelmed. He is shy of group activities so we just bring him so he can become comfortable.

He is making a derby car now, and gets to go on field trips occasionally.Good experience.
