Another Holiday has passed.

What an exausting day, yet we had a good time. We spent the day with Aunt Kathy and headed up to Evergreen for a couple hours. It was a good time, BBQ a little and of course for Logan go and climb on all the big rocks.

We then went to a place called Tiny Town it was fun to see. Logan enjoyed it. We rode the train and walked around and looked at all of the little buildings.

It was fun to see everything. We also went to check out the lake real quick no fishing this time.

Rockies Game and First Day of School

So we got free tickets from my work to see the Rockies game on Sunday...Who can pass up a free game. Trying to work on certain relatives of ours to come and visit us and go to a game with us (you know who you are!!)

Yes we really were up that high in the stadium. I guess that's what you get when the tickets were free. Logan was afraid at first to be that high, but by the middle of the game he realized he wasn't going to fall.

Today (Monday) Logan had his first day of school at the new school. He is now attending Greenwood Elementary School. The bus still comes as early as the first one, about 7 am or so, and he gets there about 7:40 am. He seemed to have a good first day and his teacher said that he worked really hard. He does have one of his teachers aides from the last school there which seems to help with the transition.

Fun Events

We've done a few fun things so far since getting back from Montana. The other day we went swimming with Aunt Kathy. Don't worry that's not a bruise on our face in the picture. The day before we went to a community carnival and Logan got the batman logo tattooed on his forehead.

Sunday afternoon we went to the zoo. It was nice to get out and weather had finally stopped raining.

Of course we had to look and see everything. It was really a nice zoo here. I suggest if you've never been you should go sometime. We both agreed that it is way better than the Phoenix zoo!! (sorry Ludy)

And yes I did cut 7 inches off my hair. I told everybody that once the wedding was over the hair was going to leave. And so it did!!!

Okay thats all for an update for now. Logan has a new injury calling my name. We'll update you on it if we have any broken bones but I think we'll survive!!

School starts August 25. Logan will be starting a new school, Greenwood village Elementary School. He will have one of his aide from last year also be an aide this year so that will help in the transition.

Wedding Slide Show! Enjoy!

Montana/Wedding

It was nice to get to go back to Montana. Although I wouldn't use the word relaxing to describe the trip.

On our first day there we took Chris around the farm via the potato rouger....Had to see if he had farming in his future.

Tuesday thru Thursday Chris went to go visit his family. So while the cats away the mice will play. On Tuesday we had a "little girl get together." It was a great night to get away with some friends.

Thursday was the big run around day. Trying to finalize everything was a bit stressful. We did manage to get together with the whole family. It was great to see everybody that made it to the family BBQ

Thursday night we even managed to get together with some of Chris friends. It was fun to see everybody that he knew prior to us. He talked and talked about his friend Sheri from Albertsons so it was nice to finally meet her and her husband, and have them drive all the way from Utah to attend our weekend. Chris' friend Greg also flew in from Phoenix for the weekend.

Then Finally came Saturday.....All of our hard work was finally going to be put to the test. I do want to say "Thank you" for everybody that was up bright and early Saturday morning to do the decorating with and for me. It was alot of help to have extra hands pitch in and everybody did an amazing job.

Around 3:30 it started to rain, believe it or not inside I was kinda panicking. We really had no back up plan as far as having to move the ceremony into the tent.

But everybody had their prayers answered when it stopped raining at 3:45 and we were able to get the ceremony started. We even started 5 minutes early just because we figured another rain storm was on the way. * which it arrived promptly after we moved to the tent for the reception.

Everything went good and it was an enjoyable day. Thank you to all of our friend and family for coming to spend our special day with us.
