Chosen middle school fall retreat

Logan went to the church middle school fall retreat this past weekend. I'm waiting for some more pictures to pop up but here are a couple for now!

Last few weeks

Here is what we have been up to the last few weeks

Logan had spirit week at school. He won best dressed for character day at school!

We have been having a couple wii competition nights with golf, tennis, and bowling.

We took our golf skills to the real world

Today I ran my first 5k with my friend Cheryl. Not just any run it was a mud run, through mud and obstacles. It was a good time!

Wedding in Florida

2 weeks ago I was in Florida for a good friends wedding. It was great to see her and meet her new hubby. I had a great time!

There were these little bugs at the cocktail hour that decided to eat me alive. I can't even describe the itchiness that I felt.

Recovery recap

Other than being super tired and a little pain the last 10 days have not been that bad. If I did activities for a couple hours and then rested I was good!

Here is what we did the last few weeks.

Yvonne and Duane were here for my surgery and for the days following. Finally Friday we got out to do some site seeing and dinner!

I went to watch my friend run a 5k. All the walking wore me out, but it was fun to watch.

Logan got some swimming in!

My friend Becky came from Sioux Center to see me! Of course she brought Eli!

Last but not least Logan had to do some window shopping for a Halloween costume!

Back to work on Tuesday, then off to Florida for a friends wedding on Friday!
