I look at it as cheap tree trimming!

Thursday afternoon there was a really bad storm, well we came home to a lovely surprise in our backyard. Now I don't know how many of you know this about Chris but he really really really values his lawn. He is that "old man" that will yell at you for walking on it. He believes that your lawn should be looked at not walked on or touched! (as many of you can guess then it must be very difficult for him when I set up the slip and slide :-) ) anyway. So we came home to the surprise in our back yard. One of our very very tall trees has come tumbling down. Well when it came down it punctured holes in the lawn, leaving Chris upset that his lawn was not perfect any more!!

As you can see it wasn't just a small branch that fell it was HUGE!

He was slightly upset, I just told him not to worry about it and to think of it as a free tree trimming. It had missed the house and porch when it fell so nothing was permanently ruined! It only took us about 1 1/2 hours to get it all cleaned up and back to normal.
Speaking of Slip and Slide Logan got that out on Tuesday and had to take it for a couple runs!

Then about 1 hour after we got everything cleaned up we got a little surprise of hail.

We actually closed my branch down today *Friday* because of tornado warnings and funnels getting to close to the branch. I'm starting to really wonder about this Colorado weather, its beginning to stink!

It's really ugly to behold those trees by you house when they are too huge already physically. It looks like you are living in the middle of the jungle already because of the sizes of the trees. That's why it would be better if they would have them cut down.
